WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesdays
WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Miz B of Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three questions:
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?: Two’s Company, by Jill Mansell. And it’s as good as I had hoped. The Mandeville family is at the centre of it all and with divorces, affairs, secret liaisons, unplanned pregnancies and teenage daughters playing pranks, it’s everything Mansell does so well!

What did you recently finish reading?: I’ve just finished Head over Heels, also by Jill Mansell. I hadn’t read any of hers for so long that I’m now stocking up. Before that though, I finished The Secret Between Us, by Barbara Delinsky. It was my second Barbara Delinsky book – and it’s going towards my 2nds challenge – but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the first of hers I read (The Vineyard). A good story – mother & daughter hit a man while driving home one evening and mother takes the blame, even though daughter is driving. A few twists and turns, but I can’t help but feel that such a story Jodi Picoult would have written perfectly.

What do you think you’ll read next: I’ve got a few options, Silk by Penny Jordan, Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson, and The Lost Art of Gratitude by Alexander McCall Smith. It’s probably going to be one of the last two though as they will both go towards a challenge I need to finish by March... unless another Jill Mansell comes along!

  1. I've read one novel by Alexander McCall Smith, The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, and really enjoyed it. I've been wanting to read Corduroy Mansion(s?) and the rest in the aforementioned series. He has a unique and engaging manner of story telling.
